About Backgammon Board Game

Backgammon is a highly regarded and widely played dice game that has captivated millions of fans worldwide. It offers a challenging and addictive gameplay experience.

Backgammon Basics and Rules / How to Play

In Backgammon, each player has a set of checkers. The home board is located in front of the player, where they aim to bear off their checkers, while the starting point is on the opposite side. The objective of the game is to remove all of one's own checkers from the board before the opponent does. During gameplay, if a player leaves a checker single, the opponent has the option to make a blot and temporarily remove the checker from the game. Once a player has moved all fifteen checkers into their home board, they can commence "bearing off".

It's important to note that if a player fails to bear off any of their checkers during a game, the other player scores a gammon, which is a double victory and counts twice as much as a normal win.

Backgammon Arena offers 6 live Game Modes with different rooms and themes based on your progress:

Backgammon is often regarded as a parlour game or a part of social casino-style games.
